A lot of roofing companies do go where the storms go, and Arrow was not alone in Presque Isle, MI, in terms of competition, both from local companies as well as from other "storm chasing" roofing companies. I entertained various proposals, and by far, Trenton Wisecup and his crew were the best to work with. They are efficient in terms of quotes, process beginning to end, and response times, when needed. Trenton proactively reached out to me various times throughout our engagement to let me know where we were in the lineup, to send pictures of the job during the replacement, and to simply check in and ensure my satisfaction with his services and his team. Based on my experience with other companies who were quoting for us, one of whom I am still awaiting a response from and it's now August and my roof is fully replaced by Arrow, Trenton's approach shows that he cares about his clients, he wants his projects to be successful, he understands the value of word of mouth recommendations, and he genuinely loves his job. Eventually, I had to realize that my 25 yr old shingles and sub roof needed serious repairs. Laurie who is always very courteous and pleasant on the phone sent Paul to my house for an estimate. Paul was very professional and provided a very detailed and precise estimate rather than others who came, looked and gave me guess-timates by eye rather than by measurement. The estimate was by far more reasonable than any others and included a total old shingle rip off and complete sheathing of the entire roof. Other contractors said I could save money by just putting another layer of shingles over the existing, which would have been a disaster. The roofing crew that came and did my roof were excellent and very efficient. The crew cleaned up everything at the end of each work day and even came back to make sure my gutters were clean and secure after the work was finished. I can highly recommend B&B and their staff because of the way they have taken care of my needs on a house that is over 125 years old and look forward to the day I can afford to have them replace my aluminum siding with vinyl siding. However, they called the first week in May and said they were ready to proceed. Despite the fact that I had just come home from a hospital stay and was still pretty ill, we decided to just go ahead. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. From the start, the job was handled with absolute professionalism. The precision with which the job was executed was flawless; each person knew his job and all worked together in an efficient and almost-rhythmic manner. I had not slept for days in hospital; during the installation, I actually was able to take a nap. Over a period of two and a half days, repairs were made, plastic vents were replaced with strong metal, an old cable TV dish was removed, gutters that were no longer viable were removed and a beautiful new roof was installed. A week later, new gutters were speedily placed and the existing gutter guards re-installed. Throughout the entire job, all debris and litter was swiftly and regularly cleaned up.. Every person involved in the job with whom we had contact was polite, helpful and responsive. Without complaint, they worked tirelessly through one day of dreadful wet, windy weather. Port Orchard Roofing is to be congratulated for a stellar workforce and a fabulous job. We would not hesitate in recommending them. I reached out to Arrow Roofing Services and spoke directly with their lead Project Manager, Neftaly Vasquez who made the time to come out on a Sunday to inspect our roof. He got his ladder and climbed our two story house and took many pictures to show us the damage. Although I have been a homeowner for over eight years I was unaware that roof damage could be covered by our home owners insurance. He made the contact with State Farm that same day and got our claim processed. I unfortunately ran into the issue of having a horrible State Farm claim representative and field adjuster that where trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge in roofing repairs. The field adjuster wanted to only repair a few shingles although the ITEL came back as not matching and wanted to just patch my roof instead of entirely fix the whole roof. Arrow Roofing's Project Manager knew the State Farm's policy more than their own claim agents and called them directly to let them know they where making a mistake by not repairing the whole roof. A day later a State Farm representative apologized and gave the ok to repair the whole roof. After a month of negligence from State Farm and being denied total roof repair I was ready to give up, but Neftaly reached out and got our roof approved. As clients we often don't know the in's and out's of our insurance policies pertaining to our homes which make us vulnerable to being denied by the same people that promise to take care of us. Arrow Roofing's Project Manager knew the policy and called out State Farm for their negligence and poor customer service. If it was not for Neftaly Vasquez my roof would have faced more damage due to high winds. We hired Trent and his crew to repair/replace our roof after a massive hail storm came through in the summer of 2019. It was an insurance claim roof replacement. We opened the claim and Trent took over from there. He worked with the insurance adjusters and we were hands off. Never had any administrative or financial issues during the process. His team replaced our 3 tab shingle with and architectural shaker style. It’s a gorgeous roof. They did a fantastic job cleaning up. When management came through to check out the work, clean up, and see if we were pleased, we noted a loose soffit piece. Instead of calling the crew back after the long day, they pulled a ladder out and climbed on the roof to correct it themselves. The team and Trent were completely transparent and went above and beyond by adding in a roof cap vent along our garage to help with air flow. We also had an unfortunate situation where a transportation van backed up and hit our truck parked in the street. When we got home the guys on the job immediately pulled us out to the truck to show us. They worked with the neighbor whose house the transport van pulled out of and got all the information, they did the leg work for us. Again, above and beyond! Again, a pleasure to talk to and never too busy to take my phone call!Juan and his crew showed up promptly when scheduled, worked hard all day, and were incredibly neat about the entire process. I have only found 3 nails on my entire property when they were finished – and no little shingle pieces or wrappings either. Very impressed!Note that I treat my trade workers well. I bought them lunch, and when they were done, I tipped each of the workers $20. And treating them well pays off. A week after the job was done, I discovered that one of my gutters was leaking on my new windows, and Cory was able to get Juan’s gutter crew out in less than a week to install a new one (a job other companies did not want to bother with since it was only a single small section).I am thrilled with my new roof (and gutter), and am waiting on the MG inspectors as I write this, but I expect no issues. I specifically wanted to use GAF Timberline shingles after my research, and I did purchase GAF’s extended Silver Pledge warranty. One of the reasons I chose Walker is because they are a Master Elite installer for GAF products, so I knew the job would be done right. His team replaced our 3 tab shingle with and architectural shaker style. It’s a gorgeous roof.They did a fantastic job cleaning up. When management came through to check out the work, clean up, and see if we were pleased, we noted a loose soffit piece. Instead of calling the crew back after the long day, they pulled a ladder out and climbed on the roof to correct it themselves. The team and Trent were completely transparent and went above and beyond by adding in a roof cap vent along our garage to help with air flow.We also had an unfortunate situation where a transportation van backed up and hit our truck parked in the street. When we got home the guys on the job immediately pulled us out to the truck to show us. They worked with the neighbor whose house the transport van pulled out of and got all the information, they did the leg work for us. Again, above and beyond! The guys clean up at the end of each day and they work hard. One of the workers dropped a piece of siding and it ripped our gazebo top.
